Crescendo: Fallen angles falling in love?

I am reading Crescendo. It is the second book in the Hush, Hush series. In this book, it starts out with Patch and Nora watching fireworks. And Nora went to get a hamburger for herself, but she ran into Marcie, they've had a very bad relationship since elementary, and she something about Nora's father hand that made Nora cry, so she went back to patch, and they made out in his car."I unlatched my seat belt and bent across the console, finding Patch's mouth in the darkness. I kissed him slowly, savoring the taste of sea salt on his skin."

When I read this I could feel the passion between them. I could tell that she really cared about Patch on a high level then in the first book. 

Balthazar by: Claudia Gray, Can death really keep you from falling in love?

      I just finished Balthazar. Its the 5th one in the Evernight series. In the book, the main characters are Balthazar and Skye. Skye can now sense dead people, and she is forced into reliving their deaths. And Balthazar falls in love with her after she gets chased by one of Balthazar's old vampire friends. This book has everything a good book needs, love; adventure; a good fight scene; and there's a little bit of sex going on. Balthazar also pretends to be a substitue teacher.
    "When their lips parted, Balthazar roughly whipered, "I need you. I love you. The only way I could ever have walked away from you was for your own good-because of how much I loved you, not how little. Do you understand that?"

     "Don't you see? It's the first life I've had in four hundered years." Balthazar cupped her cheeks in his hands. "With you- in the only way that matters- I'm alive again."
      When i read this part, i felt very upset and i wanted to cry because i felt so moved about how the author made Balthazar feel about Skye, even though he swore not to feel this way for humans.

Jurassic Park

I am reading Jurassic Park by:Michael Crichton. Currently in the book, a little girl named Tina got bit by a lizard about the size of a chicken. The bite baffled the doctors. Then a man named Guitierrez found the lizard that Tina described in the mouth of a howler monkey.

"Well, then, what's the problem?"

"I just wish I could see her, is all," Ellen said.

Then, from down the beach, carried by the wind, they heard thier daughter's voice. She was screaming.
